Ruthie Belle's most in-depth training program. Become a certified Ruthie Belle Trainer through two full, intensive days of hands-on, personalized instruction — taught directly by Ruthie Belle, not a delegate or a pre-recorded video. This is the real thing: real technique, real troubleshooting, real feedback on real work.
Technique alone doesn't make a good trainer — teaching does. Training covers how to teach Ruthie Belle, not just how to perform it:
- How to explain the chemistry accurately but simply
- How to demonstrate while students watch
- How to monitor several students simultaneously
- How to correct technique without taking over
- How to identify safety-critical mistakes
- How to distinguish "wrong" from "different but acceptable"
- How to give constructive case-study feedback
- How to handle a student who isn't reaching certification standard
- How to answer something they don't know
- When to escalate a technical question to Ruthie Belle
The point of certification is consistency: an Official Ruthie Belle Trainer runs the same course — the same structure, the same technique, the same standards — that a student would get training directly at Ruthie Belle HQ. Wherever a certified trainer teaches, students are getting the real Ruthie Belle course, not a personal variation of it.
On top of the core teaching curriculum, the two days also include a business bonus: a social media marketing module covering how to film, how to edit in CapCut, and how to structure posts that actually perform — a practical head start on marketing lash lift training once certified.
Certification is only the start. Every Tier 1 graduate becomes part of an ongoing relationship — bi-weekly live education on everything new in the industry, direct access to Ruthie Belle for questions long after training day, and a permanent listing in the Certified Teachers directory so clients and students can find them. No other Ruthie Belle program goes this deep, and no other lash lift education on the market offers this level of continued support after certification.
Tier 1 Details
2-day in-person, delivered one of two ways: 1-on-1 at Ruthie Belle HQ in Tallinn, or a group training (5–6 students) hosted by a local salon academy/existing certified artist. Both formats lead to the same certification, and every Ruthie Belle-certified trainer delivers the same course structure and technique students would get at HQ. Covers hands on lash lift technique, how to teach and assess it in others, plus a bonus social media marketing module.
Online theory module completed before the training.
A hard floor (5 paid seats minimum) before travel is committed to — the host is responsible for filling seats.
Free training seat once the minimum group is filled (5–6 paid seats), plus the exclusive opportunity to sell Ruthie Belle products to students on the training day — Ruthie Belle does not bring extra product for sale, so this is a real retail opportunity for the host. Particularly attractive for distributors considering hosting a training, since it plays directly to their existing retail setup.
€999 per student, regardless of format.

Certification — meaning a student is recognized as trained and qualified in the Ruthie Belle method — is only ever earned through Tier 1, regardless of whether it was completed 1-on-1 at HQ or via a group training.
Certification rests on three requirements:
- Case studies — submit a minimum number of before/after case studies post-training for review, demonstrating the candidate can perform the treatment to standard
- Teach a theoretical topic — explain a topic such as cysteamine chemistry, shield selection, or processing time to Ruthie Belle as though teaching a beginner student, demonstrating the candidate can actually teach the material, not just perform it
- Assess someone else's work — given a deliberately imperfect student case, the candidate must identify what's wrong, explain why it happened, describe what they'd tell the student, and determine whether it passes certification — demonstrating the candidate can evaluate and correct others' work, a core skill for anyone running trainings
All three are reviewed by Ruthie Belle personally, for now. Certification is withheld until all three meet standard — this protects brand quality and ensures every certified trainer can not only perform the treatment, but teach and assess it in others.
Ongoing Education
This is a recurring-value layer, not a one-time transaction.
- Bi-weekly Zoom calls — updates on anything new in the market, technique refinements, new products, troubleshooting trends
- Direct access to Ruthie Belle via Instagram or similar for ongoing questions
- Positions Tier 1 as a relationship, not a one-off course — graduates always have cutting-edge knowledge, and staying an active trainer is what keeps official Ruthie Belle Trainer status current
Staying Active
Official Ruthie Belle Trainer status is not a one-time achievement — it depends on staying active. Activity bar (checked every 6 months): at least one Official Ruthie Belle Training with at least one enrolled student, during each six-month active-status period. Personal kit/product purchases don't count on their own — the point is to confirm the person is actively training and supplying students, not just restocking for their own client work.
If the bar isn't met, official Ruthie Belle Trainer status is lost — including access to the ongoing education layer (Zoom calls, direct access) and the Certified Teachers directory listing. Staying active and meeting the bar again restores it.
Training manuals per student: Ruthie Belle provides the training manual in English. You can print it yourself and give each student a copy to keep, and you’re welcome to translate it into your own language. The print must be high quality, with colour photos and a cover and back cover. Alternatively, we can ship the printed manuals to you from Ruthie Belle HQ.
